Wenyue User Agreement

1. Scope of Agreement

This agreement governs your download, installation, and use of Wenyue and is between you and Shenzhen Lihangxing Technology Co., Ltd. By using Wenyue, you confirm that you have read and accepted it. If you do not agree, stop using and uninstall the app.

2. Services

Wenyue provides the following features, subject to the version currently available in the app:

Open, read, and edit supported text files, including Markdown, HTML, and TXT.
Preview Markdown or HTML content and render supported formats on the device.
Manage local files and, where supported by the current version, export documents to formats such as PDF.

3. Software License

Subject to this agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Wenyue only on compatible devices that you lawfully own or control. All rights not expressly granted remain with us or the relevant rights holders.

4. Acceptable Use

You must use Wenyue lawfully and are responsible for the content you process and the actions you take through the app.

Do not use the app to create, store, or distribute unlawful or infringing content, or content that harms the lawful rights of others.
Do not maliciously interfere with the app, bypass safeguards, or reverse engineer, decompile, or alter the software except where applicable law permits.
You must have the necessary rights to open, create, edit, or save content in the app.

5. Data and Privacy

You must have the right to read, edit, and export selected documents and should keep appropriate copies before making important changes. Documents are stored locally on your device or in a system file location you choose by default.

See Wenyue's separate Privacy Policy for its data practices. The general website privacy policy does not replace the app-specific policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The software, interface, marks, text, graphics, and other protected elements of Wenyue belong to us or the relevant rights holders. You retain applicable rights in documents, records, photos, and other user content that you lawfully own.

7. Service Changes and Updates

We may update Wenyue to improve features, maintain compatibility, fix issues, or meet legal requirements. Features may vary by app version, device, or operating system; the version you use controls.

8. Disclaimers

File encoding, syntax, fonts, layout, and system versions can affect preview or export results. Wenyue does not guarantee support for every file format or complex HTML content. Keep a copy and check the output before overwriting a source file or making broad changes.

To the extent permitted by law, Wenyue is provided as is. We take reasonable steps to maintain it, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation on every device, system version, or environment, or that it will meet every individual need.

9. Limitation of Liability

You should keep appropriate copies of important content and use the app carefully. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss caused by events beyond our reasonable control, device failure, user error, or interruption of third-party system services. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Agreement Updates

We may update this agreement to reflect product features or applicable requirements and will show the revision date on this page. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised agreement; if you do not agree, you may stop using the app.
