Frequently asked questions
Why can Light Album not see my photos?
Check the system photo permission for Light Album and confirm that the photos you want to browse are included in the authorized selection. Light Album supports the system’s limited photo access and does not always require access to every photo.
Does Light Album upload my photos?
Photo browsing, editing, and filter processing are handled locally on the device by default. Light Album does not automatically upload original photos or edited output to Lihangxing Technology servers.
Will editing or organizing photos affect originals in the system photo library?
Original photos remain in the system photo library unless you delete them through the system Photos app. When you choose to save an edit, Light Album stores the output image in the album location you select.
Why is the date wrong for some photos?
The timeline uses photo time information that the system photo library provides to the app. Importing, editing, or migrating a photo may change the time information recorded by the system. Contact technical support if the issue continues.
Why do some photos fail to load?
First check photo access permission and confirm that the photo opens normally in the system photo library. Loading may also fail when the system cannot currently provide readable photo content to the app.
How do I grant photo access again?
Open iPhone or iPad Settings, find Light Album, and adjust photo access. The exact menu location may change between system versions.
Will deleting the app delete my system photo library?
No. Uninstalling Light Album removes the app’s local settings and cache, but it does not automatically delete original photos or edited output already saved in the system photo library.
How can I report an issue?
Include the app version, iOS or iPadOS version, device model, and steps that reproduce the issue. You do not need to send private photos; a written description is enough.
